My research interest focuses on stochastic modelling and statistical analysis of thermal and active motion in disordered systems, with application to soft matter physics. I have worked on topics related to anomalous diffusion, focusing, on the one hand, on the modelling of the so-called Brownian yet non-Gaussian diffusion and, on the other hand, on the statistical analysis of single-particle trajectories.  I am interested in particular in the study of non-Gaussian dynamics in colloidal glass-forming systems by means of Molecular Dynamics simulations and single-particle trajectory analysis.
